"I recently demo'd the speed pro-- hated it and posted my review on the board.
Now i'm demoing the youtek radical pro and I have the same gripes about the feel of the frame. A bit 'dead' and 'mute'. I much prefer the 'mute' feel of the prince O series, at least with the prince frames you gain some racquet head speed and ease of swing-- with the teflon grommets I see no trade-off.
Is head destroying their new youtek lines? I believe that Head should make non-teflon grommets available to those who would prefer that option.
As TW lists the beam width of the Youtek Rad at 21.5, I seriously doubt that the old grommets from the MG, FXP or LM series would be interchangeable.
BTW, I hit with someone today who was swinging a Head trysis--played some points with it-- Wow.. what a great feeling racquet, great weight distribution-- great mix of power and control.""I tried the youtek speed pro and the new microgel extreme pros with the teflon grommets and i actually think that the teflon produces quite a noticeable effect, especially if you've tried both the newer and older extremes. I wouldnt say that its much worse but the frames are definitely more muted and there's less feel. Whether you like this or not depends on u individually."In conclusione direi C.V.D. (come volevasi dimostrare)
